Trains!
Imagination. It's a tool we used as kids, to create worlds that didn't exist, to project ourselves into places we could never go. A lot of us don't use it much as adults, but as you read this, I am going to ask you to do just that: imagine. Imagine a model train show at a local State Fairgrounds. Imagine that you walk in, pay your admission, and are greeted by several large displays of model trains, in all gauges. Imagine that Jonah was thrilled from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. Imagine how he "talked" to the trains that went by, in all their miniature train-ness. Imagine the screaming that ensued when we had to leave, but knowing that the hour or so we spent there, was well spent.
Why do you have to imagine all of this?
Because I didn't think to bring the camera to the train show.
Sigh.
Well, there's always next year.
Stay tuned for another fun post tomorrow!
