Jonah Is Two!
Well, good people, I am back.
After blogging everyday for a month in November, and after Joshua was born, I had to take a break from blogging.
That break is now over.
(At least until one (or both) of my boys start crying, the dog starts barking, the phone rings, and we get a Calgon moment, so I am making no promises.)
I will try to sum up what has been happening...
LOTS AND LOTS OF SERIOUSLY CUTE PICTURES, TAKEN FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.
So why aren't you enjoying them? Well, taking the pictures isn't hard. Putting them on this 'blog, is.
But for you, my adoring audience, I will toil. I will work non stop to re-size the 200 or so pics I have taken since November, so that you, my fans, can witness the cuteness Megan and I have been witnessing since November.
So, let's start in January, when Jonah turned the big 2. Two years old. Wow. The good news? I can finally drop the counting in months thing, to tell folks how old Jonah is. You know, "how old is the Boy now?" "Uhhhhh...Let me see....18, no, 19, wait...22, no, Megan?!?!? How old is the Boy???" From here on out, he's two. Then three, then four, and so on and so on.
See that? He's two!
What's he wishing for? To be three, of course! (And Megan was just wishing he would blow out the damn candle! He's heavy!
Of course, we hosted a small, family gathering for the occasion. Megan was, as usual, an outstanding hostess.
This past Hannukah, Jonah got a gift from Grandpa Fred, which was a Hess Truck, with a helicopter! When I was a kid, I loved the one my parents bought me for Hannukah! It was no different for Jonah, who cried when he had to stop playing with it.
But no one, not even Grandpa Fred can compare when Aunt Abby comes over. Especially when she brings gifts.
Particularly when she brings gifts shaped like fire trucks. It's all over now, people...
It's a small, remote controlled fire engine! It makes noise, turns, and scares dogs. (Trust me on this!) But Jonah, for some reason, refuses, to this day, more than a month later, to use the remote control! How two!
Jonah was a bit disappointed that he could not eat this fire truck that his Aunt brought for him, but we could eat this one!
It was delicious, as always. Thank you Megan.
We had some very out of town visitors that day. Amanda's brother Ivan, his wife Beth and their adorable daughter Maya stopped by for the party. Here, Maya and Jonah enjoy a wooden train...
Josh enjoyed the afternoon with us, but I think Megan and Abby enjoyed him more!
Well, that's all I have time for today. Check back here for pics of a visit to a children's museum to our West, snow, hugs, two cute diapered boys, and more!
