One Last Weekend In Beijing...
Well, for the athletes, anyway. (The rest of the folks who live there will have lots of weekends there, I'm sure.) But soon the flame will be extinguished on the 2008 Beijing Games, and that makes me sad. I posted earlier that anything that ends makes me sad, but we have had an amazing spectacle take place in Beijing. Two words: Michael Phelps. What more needs to be said? This man is amazing, and I am glad he is an American. Others have shown grace, poise, and a winning attitude that embodies the Olympic spirit. I watched a lot of the Games, and I am already looking forward to London, in 2012.
I will write more about this as the Games wrap up this weekend.
But as one fantastic event ends, another begins. Stay tuned to OutOfHans.com for some big news...
